Custom Printed T-Shirts - Design tshirt - t shirt Screen Printing

Custom Printed T-Shirts - Design tshirt - t shirt Screen Printing

Well a little browsing through my favorites I met this wonderful link melissaclifton.com helping us to create our own shirts from 0, I mean an image from any Internet to its printing process, in this case ink for textiles . But with the permission of the author to translate and I will make my own shirt with a picture of a famous singer.

Part One: Create the image on the computer.

Material:

- Image or photograph.
- Adobe Photoshop.

Steps:

1. Wanted image for the shirt. In this case take a my head.

2. I open the image in Photoshop and give it an appropriate threshold, take into account that I'm going to do on a black shirt and white are the parts that are cut and then fill in that color.

3. Voy Gaussian blur filter to the menu and give it a low value for not much noticed the edges, quiet in the next step would remove more detail.

4. In the next step I will play with the curves tool (image-> Settings-> curves) to diminish the image and detail to make it more "mass".

5. Finally (own recipe) are going to paint with a brush with black, in this case the parties do not want to appear on our shirts and we should get something like this:

Part Two: Cut and paint

Material:

- Card A4 or south end can be worth a folio.
- Blade (not cutter): Sales at hardware stores or craft, such as that used tanks mounted small.
- Paper A4 onion: the thicker the better, sold in stationery stores.
- Boats Special Textile Color: I use the Setacolor worth 3.5 euros in crafts stores. (For cotton)
- Tape
- Brush with the tip or failing broadband roll (the latter I have not tested)
- 100% cotton T-shirt

Steps:

Note: We will use the image of reference sites for the artist besides being more beautiful than my careto you will be clearer.

1. Print the image on the card (or sheet) set to A4 size you want.

2. We onion A4 paper on the image and paste it firmly on the table with the tape.

3. With the blade began to create the template cutting areas that are going to paint. (We recommend doing so on a cut surface or on special glass).

4. At the end of cutting (more laborious process) and we have the staff, we extend the shirt on a table and paste in the area you want the image of onion paper, take note that you must put the shirt inside cardboard previous something to print or not to drain the ink on the other side. It is recommended that at least a shirt to wash it will bring the starch factory.

5. We started to apply the color with the brush or roller tip open. With the brush vertically do so as if you were acuchillando shirt. you not to run for the incoming court. Want to apply as many layers you shall see that the color is quite strong.

6. Despegais the template of the shirt with great care not to run because the ink and you have your shirt ready for fardar with your friends.

That's how I've done some more:
